The Hackensack High School newspaper, “The Voice”, dated June 21, 1962, had Marine listed next to George A. Dillard’s name as to his intentions after graduation. 

Other graduates and people who knew George told me they believed George Dillard served in the Marine Corp after High School.  

He is the older brother of Harold Dillard, who was also in the Marine Corp and was killed in action during his service.
